Technology is much more advanced and makes life a bit easier for us. There are many “smart” devices that take over the role of our daily items and tasks for us. Technology continues to evolve and doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. To maximize the use of “smart” devices and technology, you must have the most advanced internet, hotspots and video; they all tie into one another.
Like most things, devices come and go in trends, depending on the newest upgrade or different uses. Ever hear of “smart wearable technology?” These types of “smart” devices or gadgets are able to be worn or attached to the body. For instance, in the 1970’s the calculator watch was quite popular and the newest technology . In today’s society, we have devices like the Nike wristbands, Fitbits, Google glasses, Apple watches, or Samsung gear. These devices can do almost anything from sending text messages, giving us directions, and even helping us keep up on our health.
Technology has not only made “smart” devices but has made “smart” homes as well. Can you control your home from your “smart” device? Well you probably could if you wanted too! As long as you have a broadband connection, you’re able to have a smart home at your command. Using one of your smart devices, you can turn on lights, security systems, temperature control, or even open windows and doors. Technology has evolved overtime, which has changed the way signals are sent. When you use your smart device for your smart home or anywhere really, it uses radio waves (Bluetooth, WiFi, and hotspots) instead of electrical wires to communicate.
If you don’t have any of these services or smart devices, you may want to so you are not stuck in the 1970’s just calculating. You need to be up to speed with the latest technology.
