Pinpoint to Host Cambridge Trojan Tailgate
Join the Pinpoint crew this Friday, October 10th as we host a Trojan Tailgate Party when the Cambridge Trojans take on the Bayard Tigers for a mid-season, home football game. Pregame food, fun and spirit building starts at 5:00pm and lasts through kick off. The Pinpoint team will be serving up food fit for a champion for all football fans and you can register to win a door prize to be given away at half-time.
Along with great food, we will also be selling mini footballs for our first quarter 50/50 Football Toss game. Young and old alike can purchase a chance to toss, pass, pitch, hurl, launch, fling or Hail Mary a mini football from the stands to our target. The winner will receive 50% of the money collected (along with bragging rights) and the other half of the money will be donated to the Cambridge School to use for their youth fund which helps defray a variety of expenses for students in need including computer use fees, sports physicals and schools supplies. Footballs can be purchased at the tailgate and will be 1 for $5 or 3 for $10.
In addition, Pinpoint is proud to be co-hosting the Cambridge Alumni Football celebration which is being held this weekend as well. Homage will be paid to all past teams and members with special recognition given to the 1994 championship team in honor of the 20th anniversary of their state title win. An alumni basketball tournament will be held on Saturday to round out the weekend’s events.
We encourage all of our patrons and fans of football to come out. We’ll be in the parking lot next to Cambridge’s Clint John Field…you won’t be able to miss us under the big red and white tent (just in case it rains).
