Safari - In Safari you can pay for your purchases easier with the credit card scanner feature.

Keyboard - New keyboard options make it an easier function to message your whole contact list. It also makes it easier so you can share your documents, pictures and videos, with your family and friends.

Messages - Save time by using the short cuts iOS 8 provides by pressing the home button twice and see who you have been interacting with more.

Siri - has a faster voice recognition and real time talk to type option.

Access - Another great feature is the guided access, this allows you to limit the amount of time you spend on your device, which is great for children.

Life of your iPhone - Save your battery life by watching which apps use the most of your battery life. Choose to automatically delete your messages which will save space on your Apple device as well. You can also save your phone usage by using Wi-Fi for phone calls.

There are tons more features and new apps that you can find here. Some of these features are not available on all Apple devices, so please check to make sure the feature will work with your version of the device.

There have also been a few problems seen by Apple users as well with the new iOS 8 update. A few of the issues are or were: battery drainage, slow Wi-Fi, Cellular issues with no service, and caused widespread Bluetooth connectivity issues with cars. The new Touch ID feature for IPhone 6 and 6 Plus users has also been having issues, which has locked some users out of their phones. The update also erased iCloud data for some users. Apple has since corrected most of these issues with new versions of the update: iOS 8.0.1 and 8.0.2. Make sure you stay informed with the current versions of the iOS updates to see if you should install the update on your Apple device or not.
