Gfiber Lights Up First Customer
Friday, January 23rd was a groundbreaking day for Pinpoint as we turned up service to our first customer on our brand new Gfiber network. Mike and Deb Bacon, who were involved in the GIC movement which was instrumental in bringing Gfiber to Gothenburg, received the new service this last Friday.
After our Pinpoint combination techs got the Bacon’s first TV up and running, our sales team stepped in to take over on the product training side. Jessica Ryther and Dixie Sickels joined the Bacon’s in their home to review the features and details of the state-of-the-art
IPTV system. The short training session helped engage the Bacon’s so they will be able to get maximum enjoyment out of their new service.
In-home training following installation is just one of the many customer service offerings Pinpoint brings to the table; another in a long line of perks of having a local presence. By interacting with the customer and introducing them personally to the many elements of our new products, we hope to help provide the best viewing experience possible.
The Bacon residence is one of 10 slated for initial testing as we work the final blips out of our system. We want to make sure we deliver a quality and fully tested product to our new customer base from the get-go. Gothenburg Public Schools is next on the Pinpoint Gfiber installation list and then we will resume our regular residential and business installations schedule.
